The Department of Reality

Where marketable products are checked and questioned for feasibility; It's their job to say "NO" until they can't come up with another objection. Vetting the project for feasibility goes beyond whether it "is a good idea." We have to know that it could be profitable. We could help you create the world's greatest widget to end all widgets, but if it's going to be priced out of market, or is just too expensive to manufacture, or if the consumer base is too small, it doesn't make sense to push forward. If the idea doesn't make the grade, then it can either be dropped, thereby saving a lot of extra trouble, or go back to Inception for further exploration to address the concerns presented. If it passes muster, it goes to The Grind or to The Department of Conformity.

The Department of Reality

After exiting Transylvania University dissatisfied that there was no degree offered in Vampirism, Daniel explored his initial interest in medicine in Charleston, West Virginia at the Charleston Area Medical Center. There, he discovered that he was not so thrilled to serve as a vehicle for Big Pharma, and so returned to his roots in Technology to facilitate the installation of a multi-million dollar Medical Records System. Tiring of life in the backwoods, Daniel returned to Lexington, Kentucky, to start Tech Needed, a consortium of Computer Network Repair and Installation Personnel. Personally specializing in the Security of Banks, Hospitals, Attorneys, and CPAs, Daniel met numerous individuals who utilized his services for Start-Up creation. Eventually, this resulted in the creation of an Oil and Natural Gas Company in South-central Kentucky. Finding that his skill sets served well for Senior Management, Daniel soon found his leadership to result in awards from Forbes within the top 150 fastest growing small businesses and as the third most active Oil and Natural Gas Development Companies in the Appalachian Basin, having placed over $25 million into the ground. With the downturn in the price of Natural Gas, Daniel began searching for his next venture, when he was approached by a little known, brightly dressed local… The rest is history in the making…
