Jim Francis is experienced in business and intellectual property law in addition to civil litigation, having spent several years practicing law in Lexington and Louisville at two of the regions largest law firms. Jim also worked for a large international oil company for over 17 years before entering private practice. Jim is also a highly experienced transactional attorney helping businesses and entrepreneurs buy and sell businesses, draft employment and independent contractor agreements, obtain state and federal grants, draft software license and sales agreements, draft software development agreements, and negotiate and draft licenses for intellectual property in addition to drafting website terms of use, privacy, and subscription agreements.
